Accessibility Statement

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies. This statement sets out our approach, what we have done, where we know we fall short, and how to reach us.

Our commitment

Arcorian Partners is a trading name of Gary D Phillips. We are committed to making arcorianpartners.co.uk accessible, in keeping with our duties as a service provider under the Equality Act 2010. Accessibility is not a one-off task — we treat it as an ongoing part of how the site is built and maintained.

How we have approached accessibility

The site has been built with accessibility in mind from the outset. In particular:

• Pages use clear, semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order.
• Interactive elements — navigation, cards, and forms — can be operated with a keyboard, and a visible focus indicator shows where you are on the page.
• Dialogue windows can be closed with the Escape key and return focus to where you were.
• Text and background colour combinations have been checked to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1.
• The layout is responsive and remains usable on small screens from 375 pixels wide.
• The site respects the 'reduce motion' setting in your operating system or browser.
• Images that carry meaning include descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.

Conformance status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. This is a self-assessment based on our own testing during the build. The site has not yet been independently audited, so we describe it as partially conformant — it meets much of the standard, but some areas may not yet be fully tested against it.

Known limitations

We are honest about where the site may currently fall short:

• The site has not had a formal accessibility audit by an external specialist.
• Display headings use a decorative serif typeface at large sizes; while readable, this has not been tested with every assistive setup.
• Where analytics or other third-party services are used, parts of their behaviour sit outside our direct control.
• Any documents offered for download may not all be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need one in an accessible format, please ask.
